The first ever Ilonggo blogging event, the very first ever blogging event I've been to. The first and will probably be the last. It's not just a failure, it's a PHAILure, an epic PHAILure even. Mawe would agree (we're not close, I'm just a lowly blogger trying to make some connection).

This was how the stage looked at around 3PM, two hours after the event was supposed to start.
(Oh, it's not a blogging event without giving out some link lovin', right? This post will be sprinkled with rainbow-colored dust of link lovin'.)
And looking at the brighter side, I was able to see the Smash Dancers! They're hot and bloody smashing!

The greasy hair, the sebo de macho dyed hair, the ghetto outfits. I just love it!

And what's a dance routine without a stunt?
And other pictures:

Why are you wearing a cap? Your English might have been good, but you didn't make the already lousy event a little more exciting. The people were not even listening to you.

Uhm, who are you? One speaker is enough, all he/she needs to do is make an impact. If you guys were making an impact, you made a very bad one.

How do you expect me to believe you, when you aren't even sure of what you were saying? There are many versions of Windows and much much more versions of other operating systems.

Beautiful. I love the smile and the outfit. But it would've been much, much better with a guy in a muscle shirt. :)

Marcos of Explore Iloilo on equal-footing with a journalist from The Guardian. More power to the blogger!
Oh, did I tell you that we had a photo op with The Guardian!? This might just be my ticket to stardom! OMG, I'm so excited!

To SM City Iloilo and the sponsors, Figaro, Saint Cafe, Netopia, Our Home, Mister Donut, Cafe Celina, Text Terminal, Picture City, SM Cinema, Bo's Coffee and Q Solutions, thank you, still. Not for the event, but for giving Iloilo bloggers a chance to meet each other for the first time.

Junn of Junntrekker , Vincent of inicenti, Mary Jane of Mary Jane’s Niche, Monica and Jonha
And I conclude this post with a picture of the bloggers that I met. Because at the end of the day, it's not about the lousy events you've been to, it's about the people you meet, the friendship that you create and the on-going fight for world peace. :)
See the whole set of pictures on my Flickr account.
(This post was the product of a surge of ideas that my usually idle mind magically created.)

I so love the bit about world peace! But uhhmmm where are our heads na Efren? :D I thought you were going to crop off the body part. LOL. But I think this is much better though because it gives us anonymity (as if). ;)
Anyway, it was really great to hang out with you. Til next time! Mwah!
Nadula ang mga ulo...baw si Marc...kag sino ni nga taga The Guardian? Basi si Tara na...:D
@MaryJane, for that haunted effect, you know Halloween is so near. HAHA. And for the false pre-tense of anonymity. :)
@Berniemack, hello mr. habagat central! thanks for gracing my site. As Mary Jane and I have said, false pretense of anonymity. And pauso ko yan. People pictures will be posted without the heads cropped out. :)
i will post your face in my blog! :P
